Privacy Policy

We believe privacy should be simple to understand. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it — in plain language.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Who we are

Our website address is https://freshair-projects.com. We are an online retailer selling home, garden and automotive products across Europe.

For any question about this policy or about how we handle your personal data, you can write to us at info@freshair-projects.com. We reply to every request, usually within a few hours.

2. What data we collect

We only collect what we actually need to run the shop and deliver your order:

  • Order data — name, delivery address, phone number and email address, provided by you when you place an order.
  • Communication data — the content of emails or messages you send us, so we can answer you.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and device information, collected automatically by our server logs.
  • Usage data — pages visited and interactions with the site, collected only where you have given cookie consent.

We never ask for and never store payment card details on our own systems.

3. Why we process your data

Each type of processing has a specific legal basis under the GDPR:

  • Contract — to confirm, prepare and deliver your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
  • Legal obligation — to keep accounting and tax records for the period required by law.
  • Legitimate interest — to protect the site against fraud and abuse, and to keep it working correctly.
  • Consent — for analytics, advertising and any non-essential cookie. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

5. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images published on the site.

6. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen option cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login persists for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies are removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you accept them through our consent banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie settings link available on every page.

7. Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content, such as videos, images or articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with it if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

8. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the parties strictly necessary to complete your order:

  • Courier and logistics partners — name, address and phone number, so your parcel can be delivered.
  • Our hosting provider — which stores the site data on our behalf.
  • Analytics and advertising providers — only where you have consented, and in aggregated or pseudonymised form.
  • Competent authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

9. How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely, so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time, except that they cannot change their username. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Order and invoicing data is kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. After that period it is deleted or anonymised.

Your data, your decision.

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. One email is enough — no forms and no waiting queue.

10. What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments or placed an order, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Access

Ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it.

Rectification

Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.

Erasure

Ask us to delete your data where there is no legal reason to keep it.

Restriction

Limit how we use your data while a request is being reviewed.

Portability

Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Objection

Object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including profiling.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@freshair-projects.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

11. Data security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it to process orders and provide support, and it is protected by authentication and access controls.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but if a data breach were to affect your rights, we would notify you and the competent authority as required by law.

12. Children’s privacy

Our website and products are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
