1. About Trackers
This document contains information about the technologies that allow this Application to achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow the Owner to collect and store information (for example by using Cookies) or to use resources (for example by running a script) on the User’s device when the User interacts with this Application.
For simplicity, all such technologies are referred to in this document as “Trackers”, unless there is a reason to differentiate. For example, while Cookies can be used on both web and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to talk about Cookies in the context of mobile apps, as they are browser-based Trackers. For this reason, within this document the term Cookies is only used where it is specifically meant to indicate that particular type of Tracker.
Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may also require the User’s consent. Whenever consent is given, it can be freely withdrawn at any time following the instructions provided in this document.
This Application uses Trackers managed directly by the Owner (commonly referred to as “first-party” Trackers) and Trackers that enable services provided by third parties (commonly referred to as “third-party” Trackers). Unless otherwise specified within this document, such third parties may access the Trackers managed by them.
The validity and expiration periods of Cookies and other similar Trackers may vary depending on the lifetime set by the Owner or by each third-party provider. Some of them expire upon the end of the User’s browsing session.
In addition to what is specified in the description of each of the categories set out below, Users may find more precise and updated information regarding lifetime specification, as well as any other relevant information — such as the presence of other Trackers — in the linked privacy policies of the respective third-party providers, or by contacting the Owner.
2. Activities strictly necessary for the operation of this Application and the delivery of the Service
This Application uses so-called “technical” Cookies and other similar Trackers to carry out activities that are strictly necessary to operate or deliver the Service. These Trackers do not require the User’s consent.
Consent management
This type of service allows the Owner to collect, record and manage the consent preferences expressed by Users, and to make those preferences available to the other Trackers used on this Application.
Cookiebot
Cookiebot is a consent management platform that displays the cookie banner, records the User’s choices and blocks non-essential Trackers until consent has been given. It also transmits the User’s consent status to Google services through Google Consent Mode.
Spam and bot protection
This type of service analyses the traffic of this Application, potentially containing Users’ Personal Data, in order to filter out unwanted traffic, messages and content recognised as SPAM, or to protect it from malicious bot activity.
Google reCAPTCHA
Google reCAPTCHA is a SPAM protection service provided by Google LLC. Use of the reCAPTCHA system is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms of use.
Tag management
This type of service supports the centralised management of the tags or scripts used on this Application. The use of such services causes User Data to flow through them and, where relevant, to be retained.
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is a tag management service provided by Google Ireland Limited. It does not set Cookies of its own for tracking purposes, but it loads the other Trackers described in this document once the corresponding consent has been given.
3. Experience
This Application uses Trackers to improve the quality of the user experience and to enable interactions with external content, networks and platforms.
Displaying content from external platforms

Google Fonts
Google Fonts is a typeface visualisation service provided by Google Ireland Limited that allows this Application to incorporate such content within its pages.
4. Measurement

Google Analytics 4

Google uses the Personal Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to prepare reports and to share them with other Google services. Google may use the Personal Data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network. In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are used at collection time and then discarded before the data is logged in any data centre or server.
Google Ads conversion tracking
Google Ads conversion tracking is an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited that connects data from the Google Ads advertising network with actions performed on this Application.
Heat mapping and session recording
Heat mapping services are used to display the areas of this Application that Users interact with most frequently, in order to show where their interest is concentrated. These services make it possible to monitor and analyse web traffic and to keep track of User behaviour. Some of these services may record sessions and make them available for later viewing.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity is a heat mapping and session recording service provided by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft processes or receives Personal Data through Microsoft Clarity, which may in turn be used for any purpose in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement, including improving and providing Microsoft Advertising.
5. Marketing
This Application uses Trackers to deliver personalised commercial content based on User behaviour, and to operate, distribute and measure advertising campaigns. These Trackers are only activated after the User has given consent.

Your consent is never final. You can review which categories you have accepted and update or withdraw your choice at any time, with a single click.
7. How to manage preferences and give or withdraw consent
There are various ways to manage Tracker-related preferences and to give or withdraw consent where relevant:
Users can manage preferences relating to Trackers directly through their own device settings — for example, by preventing the use or storage of Trackers.
In addition, whenever the use of Trackers is based on consent, Users can give or withdraw such consent by setting their preferences within the cookie notice, or by updating those preferences through the consent preferences widget available on this Application.
Any previously stored Trackers can also be removed through the relevant browser or device features, including those used to store the User’s original consent preferences.
Other Trackers stored in the browser’s local storage can be removed by clearing the browsing history.
As for third-party Trackers, Users can manage their preferences by visiting the relevant opt-out link where available, by using the tools described in the third party’s privacy policy, or by contacting the third party directly.
8. Locating Tracker settings
Users can, for example, find information on how to manage Cookies in the support pages of the most commonly used browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Apple Safari
- Microsoft Edge
- Brave
- Opera
Users may also manage certain Trackers for mobile apps by opting out through the relevant device settings, such as the advertising settings for mobile devices or the tracking settings in general. Users can consult their device settings to locate the relevant option.
9. How to opt out of interest-based advertising
Notwithstanding the above, Users are informed that they may use the information available on YourOnlineChoices (EU and UK), Network Advertising Initiative (US), Digital Advertising Alliance (US), DAAC (Canada), DDAI (Japan) or other similar services. These services allow Users to manage the tracking preferences of most advertising tools. The Owner therefore recommends that Users make use of these resources in addition to the information provided in this document.
The Digital Advertising Alliance also offers an application called AppChoices that helps Users to control interest-based advertising on mobile apps.
10. Consequences of refusing Trackers
Users are free to decide whether or not to allow the use of Trackers. However, please note that Trackers allow this Application to provide Users with a better experience and advanced functionality, in line with the purposes set out in this document. If the User chooses to block the use of Trackers, the Owner may be unable to provide the related features.
Trackers that are strictly necessary for the operation of the site cannot be disabled through the consent banner, as the Service could not be delivered without them.
